Mental illnesses and their impact on human mental health and how to treat them!
2017.20017
Most mentally ill people, if you ask them, will say that they were completely normal and then found themselves suffering from serious psychological disorders that vary from one person to another. Most of them had lives and jobs, then they entered into strong internal shocks that affected the lifestyle they were living. The overwhelming majority do not find an explanation for what they are living except for excessive thinking that may lead them to anxiety and sleep disorders.
To know what it means to be a mentally ill person, we must first know what mental illnesses are and their types!
Mental illnesses are behavioral disorders resulting from a malfunction in cognitive areas of the brain that affect the pattern of cells and the normal growth and development of the brain, causing waves of delusions. Their symptoms include: obsessive-compulsive disorder, hallucinations, anxiety, sleep and behavioral disorders, and they may also lead to depression.
There are many types of diagnoses for such diseases, the most famous of which are: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia... and other common types diagnosed by specialists in this field. The question remains: how do they affect the psychology of patients and their feelings?
Mental illnesses are always accompanied by bouts of anxiety, internal fear, lack of attention, hyperactivity, and imbalances in the ethereal personality, which leads to its collapse. We often find patients as weak-willed, and their behavior is hostile to society and people, leading them to introversion and isolation, and affecting their daily lifestyle, such as leaving school and work.
Hence the important question about the causes, and the most important reasons are the following:
The vast majority of causes are related to the brain and brain chemistry or nerve dysfunction. There are also genetic factors that cause the disease, such as the disease being transmitted genetically from a relative. These are among the main reasons for the development of mental illnesses.
How to treat mental illnesses?
There are many ways to treat, the most prominent of which is consulting a psychiatrist. From an experience, the doctor does not help you get out of the crisis, as medications often have the opposite effect and do not help in treatment, and can have serious complications on the human body.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the patients’ past of traumas and problems is not sufficient to diagnose whether they are the cause of the disease, as the majority of patients do not link their past to the causes. In fact, there are many hypotheses about this scourge that casts its shadow over many segments of society and which may sometimes lead to suicide.
